General Information
1. When is the seminar? The seminar will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 15 – 16, 2026.
2. When are the examinations/gradings? The examinations will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
3. Where is the seminar located? The venue is Chakrabandhu Pensiri Hall, Kasetsart University (Bangkok, Thailand).

Fees & Payment Policy
5. What are the seminar and examination fees?
6. Is the Examination Application Fee refundable?
No, the Examination Application Fee is non-refundable once the registration is complete.
7. What happens to my License Registration Fee if I do not pass the exam?
If the candidate does not pass the examination, the License Registration Fee will be fully refunded.
8. Can I pay the License Registration Fee in Thai Baht (THB)?
No. We accept only Japanese Yen (JPY) in cash for the License Registration Fee. Please prepare the exact amount in a sealed envelope with your full name clearly written on the front before the exam begins.
9. Do you offer group discounts?
We do not offer group discounts; however, participants can take advantage of our Early Bird promotion by registering before the deadline.
Participation & Requirements
10. Do I need to be an active JKA member to participate?
Yes, all participants must hold a valid and active JKA membership.
11. Are karateka from other organizations allowed to join?
Yes, provided they obtain official permission from the JKA representative in their respective country.
12. Can I wear a uniform (dogi) from another association?
No. Participants must wear a plain white dogi or one with the official JKA logo. No other association logos are permitted.
13. Do you accept walk-in registrations?
No, walk-ins are not accepted. All participants must register through their JKA Country Representative, who will submit the names and fees centrally to JKA Thailand.
Facilities & Logistics
14. Will there be a welcome party?
There is no welcome party scheduled for this event.
15. Is lunch provided during the seminar?
Lunch is not provided. Participants are responsible for their own meals.
16. Is drinking water available at the venue?
Yes, drinking water is provided. Note: It is advised not to drink tap water in Thailand.
17. Is the venue air-conditioned?
Yes, the training hall is fully air-conditioned.
18. Can I purchase a commemorative T-shirt?
Yes, event T-shirts will be available. Please place your order through your JKA Country Representative in advance.

19. Do you provide accommodation in Bangkok?
We do not provide accommodation. However, we recommend the following nearby hotels:
20. How do I get to Kasetsart University? The most convenient ways to reach the university are via the BTS Skytrain (Sukhumvit Line), taxi, or ride-sharing apps (such as Grab).
21. How far is Kasetsart University from the Siam area? The journey takes approximately 30 minutes via the BTS Skytrain.
